Why this philosophy

Ideas must work in a real life.

We all want meaning and purpose in our lives. We want to become better for ourselves, our families, and our communities. But distraction and constant technological noise make that direction easy to lose. This work draws on thousands of years of philosophical tradition, tests those ideas against decades of practical experience, and adapts what survives for the challenges ahead.

My understanding has been built across fields rather than within just one. Teaching taught me that an idea is not finished until it can be explained. Mechanical work taught me that reality does not care about elegant theories. Business management and operations taught me that every decision has constraints. Music taught me to listen for structure, tension, and rhythm. That is why my approach is practical, skeptical, and constructive. I test ideas against evidence and against life, and keep what holds up.
